Equipment

This section provides a list of recommended equipment for long-distance hikes and hikes over several days. Breathable outdoor clothing for any weather is essential. We recommend lightweight, easy-dry clothing from merino wool (e.g. by ORTOVOX), which keeps odours at bay for days. Please ensure that you have plenty of food: cereal bars, nuts and dried fruit are perfect hiking snacks. You should also take plenty of water or another suitable drink. A refillable drinking bottle is ideal.
